I just finished my quick and easy craft fair apron! I really needed one for the Sew Funky Market, but I was too busy stocking up on inventory for that show and never got around to making my apron. Since this is my first apron and I’m not sure how well it will work out, I decided to construct it easily and quickly.

The last few jobs that I’ve had – bartending (back in NYC), working at a hotel, and working as a leasing and building manager – I had to work weekends and holidays. As much as I may have liked my job (mostly at the beginning ;P) I hated getting up to go to work on weekends and holidays. I hated the idea that my friends were getting together, relaxing, and having fun without me. I wanted to not be at work and enjoy the day off just like everybody else!

Just a few days ago, I had a request to take some photos of some cute character appliques that I have in my shop. The appliques were created by cutting out characters from a printed fabric. At first, I thought the request for the photos was an AWESOME idea, but as I worked on Photoshopping the photos and cleaning our the edges of the characters, I realized that I was basically copying someone’s work.
Long story short, I decided not to sell/give the files. I am totally bummed because I worked so many hours on them AND they turned out so cute!!! They’re so cute that I want to share them, so here are just a few photos of the ones I printed out.
